FLORES, NOHEMI

 

"When Jesus said, 'Love your enemies,' I think he probably meant don't kill them." I believe that this is a powerful tool to demonstrate and practice for our day-to-day basis of living.

 

As a young person, going to college is a great opportunity to display this motto. People of different ages, have said that they love that; and I would offer them a sticker or bumper sticker. I let them know that they may receive additional information, if they go on to the website.

 

Also,  I let them know about the Church of the Brethren, because one of our greatest values is to be in peace with oneself.
